What previous experience do I need for metal fabricator jobs?
Obviously if you have ever worked in a sheet metal shop, you have developed some skills, which is great! It is not necessary that you have experience to become a great metal fabricator. In fact, most of our employees came from backgrounds and fields other than metal fabrication! What is important to us is the thirst for learning, the confidence to try something new, and the positive attitude you will bring to work every day.
Qualifications: You must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for employment:
- You must be able to provide documentation of legal work status or citizenship in the United States of America.
- H&H Metals is a 100% drug free workplace and we have a zero tolerance policy. We test frequently and randomly. If you use or have a history of using drugs of any kind, please do not apply. This includes marijuana.
- We require a drivers license and a reasonably clean driving history. This includes an M.V.R. check prior to any job offering.
- We do extensive background checks including criminal history.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
